We want you to know that we are listening — our team is currently addressing your feedback. While these improvements are still in progress, your input is directly shaping our upcoming roadmap to ensure ZK remains the best tool for your projects.

📝What We Learned

Here are a few key takeaways from the community:

• Project Status: We were glad to see that over 83% of your projects are in active development or continuous enhancement. This confirms that ZK remains a core pillar for your enterprise systems.
• Ready for the Future: Your transition to modern Java is impressive! 83% of you are ready for JDK 17 or newer, and over half have already migrated to Jakarta EE. This paves a clear path for the upcoming ZK 11.
• What’s Next in 2026: You told us you’re most excited about AI-powered development tools (like ZUL previews and our new AI Server), performance boosts, and modernizing UI styling.
• Addressing Your Challenges: We’ve taken close note of your feedback regarding theming and responsiveness challenges, as well as your thoughts on our release cycles. These insights are incredibly valuable as we continue to evaluate and refine our future development plans.
• Highly Requested Training: The most requested training topics were Architecture & Best Practices, Advanced UI Patterns, and Modern Theming. We are currently looking into how to best deliver this content to you.
